Kitting
SPC International currently operates bespoke kitting services according to customer requirements. Examples of these solutions are
- Replenishment of engineering stock – SPC receives used engineers kits on a daily basis and identifies which parts have been used in service events. The defective/used parts are removed from the kit and replenished from good stock held by SPC. The replenished kits are returned to stock with 48 hours of receipt. SPC repairs the defective parts or new buys replacement inventory to replenish the buffer stock.
- Kitting for good stock – As part of our VOI programs SPC will take good parts from our serviceable warehouse and kits these parts according to the customer requirements. This may include appropriate cabling, inserts, manuals, packaging & labelling etc.
As part of the kitting program SPC is able to leverage our knowledge of configuration to configure equipment according to our customers'’ specific requirements which may be part of a installation or repair program.
